The Hurricane
History== The Hawker Hurricane is a single seater fighter aicraft that was mainly designed and produced by Hawker Aircraft Ltd for the RAF. The Hurricanes first flight was on the 6th November 1935 and was introduced into military service in 1937. Although it was shadowed by the superior Supermarine Spitfire, it distuinghished itself during the Battle of Britain and was responsible for 60% of the RAF victories during the battle as well as it serving in every major theater during WW2.
